New Nurture from Heinz

NEW NURTURE FROM HEINZ

Follow-on milks with an advanced approach

From the moment you find out you're expecting, the instinct to nourish, protect and help your baby develop kicks in. You want to eat more healthily to help nourish your growing baby, you shy away from crowds to protect your baby and you know when your body needs a rest to help your baby develop. It’s with all this in mind that Heinz has developed Nurture, an advanced, combined approach to nourish, protect and help develop your baby.

These instincts to nourish, protect and develop become even more powerful once your baby is born, regardless of whether you choose to breast, bottle or combination feed. Your baby's brain, body and immune system is developing faster than at any other time in its life so receiving the right nutrients to help support those three essential aspects of growth is vital.

Developed with Heinz European experts in baby nutrition, Heinz Nurture follow-on milks are designed to help babies develop until they are eating a balanced diet.

Understandably, many mums find the ingredients of a milk formula confusing. It can appear that some brands just talk about one aspect of baby nutrition, the immune system for example, but as a mum you want to be confident that your baby is getting the nutrients he needs for all round development not just one aspect of growth. Heinz understands this and Nurture has been specially formulated to provide the appropriate balance of essential nutrients to not only nourish but also protect and develop your baby.

Nourish

A range of nutrients including milk proteins and calcium to support healthy growth and satisfy your baby.

Protect

  • Prebiotics and nucleotides to help support the immune system and ensure your baby has a healthy tummy.
  • Iron to help blood formation and your baby's immune system

Develop

Omega 3 and 6 LCPs to help the brain and eyes develop.

Constipation Relief

As a welcome added benefit, Heinz Nurture also contains a special blend of fats called Betapol® to help ease constipation. The condition is typically more common in formula-fed babies because some of the nutrients are more difficult to digest which in turn can lead to harder poo. The fatty acids of Betapol® are more easily digested helping to overcome this problem.

Sensitive Tums

There's also a special follow-on milk for babies with sensitive tummies called Nurture Gentle Follow on. The milk is designed to help make the digestion of protein and lactose easier. Gentle on a baby’s sensitive stomach, this milk offers greater comfort for babies suffering with digestive problems such as colic, flatulence or bloating, which in turn can lead to a calmer baby. Heinz Nurture Follow-on Milk is available in cans of powder and 250ml ready-to-use cartons. Nurture Gentle Follow-on Milk is available in cans of powder. Both are available from supermarkets and pharmacies.

Important Notice
Breast-feeding is best for babies and a healthy, balanced diet is important when breast-feeding. A decision not to breast-feed can be difficult to reverse. Also the introduction of partial bottle feeding will reduce the supply of breast milk, whereas continuing breast-feeding will maintain a healthy supply of milk. An infant formula should be used on the advice of a doctor or health professional and the cost of infant formula should be considered when deciding how to feed your baby. If an infant formula is used, all the preparation and feeding instructions should be followed carefully, as this is important for your baby's health.
