First Aid
With the children at home the sudden increase in accidents can sometimes be a shock,
the need for plasters, antiseptic cream and kiss and cuddles.
The thing to remember when treating your child is your expression. Easier said than
done sometimes, but you need to stay calm. Try and assess the injury without alarming
the child, as they are often distressed already. I know my own children react very
diffirently to injuries, James wants to see everything that is going on, where
Charlotte just won't let me near her to do anything.
It can be a worrying time, as the home and garden are dangerous places, but armed
with some basic skills and knowledge you will get by.
