Travelling with children can be a daunting prospect. Whether you are travelling abroad or in Britain you will still need to plan ahead, and consider the safety aspects of travelling.

When you have been looking forward to a holiday all year, the last thing you need is to not be prepared. You are about to finally go on holiday, whether that is for a long weekend or 2 weeks, you will have to think about a lot more now you have children. It was probably bad enough when it was just you, but now you have probably 1 or more children to cater for.

Getting everything together for a holiday can be fun!!! I keep telling myself that everytime we plan our own holiday and try to think about everything we will need. Depending on how you are getting there you will need different things. If you are flying, travelling by car, ferry or train I hope some of these tips help.
